Knot Spell (Knot/Cord Spellcraft)

Here is a simple Nine Knot Spell (this type of spell work is sometimes called Cord Spellcraft). You can use any length of cord you desire as well as type of cord material. Below are some color correspondences, material, and length suggestions for knot spellcrafting.

Color Correspondences

White: Purity, truth, spirituality, peace.

Black: Stealth, banishing, protection from negativity.

Red: Strength, passion, courage.

Pink: Love, compassion, affection.

Orange: Stimulation, vitality, energy, adaptability, creativity.

Yellow: Mental acuity, intelligence, study, confidence, psychic ability.

Green: Money, prosperity, fertility, abundance.

Blue: Intuition, tranquility, emotion, healing, patience. 

Purple (Violet): Ascension, Spirituality, communication with the Angels/Guides, connection to Divine, Spiritual Power.

Brown: The Earth, home, stability, plants, animals.

Gray: Neutrality, cancellation, walking between two worlds.

Cord Materials

You can use any material you like, but it is desirable to use a cord created of natural materials such as Silk, Hemp, or Cotton.

Cord Length

There are magickal numbers that add energy to your spells when used. Depending on the number of knots required by your spell, will help determine the length of the cord. The lengths are 7", 9", and 13" inches. The spell above is the Nine Knot Spell. For that you would use the 9" cord. It gives you one inch for each knot. If the cord is thin, then this is usually plenty of room to create the knot however, if the cord is thick, you will need a longer piece in order to accommodate the knots as you create them.
